AZTEA aligns its educational technology work with industry standards to cultivate collaborative educational communities, empowering all who impact student learning to prepare future-ready individuals.



VISION

As a statewide organization, AzTEA is committed to supporting a seamless educational learning ecosystem that thoughtfully and effectively deploys technology, pedagogy, and instruction.

Value Statements

  • We envision a world where all educators are empowered by educational technology options and implementation to effectively support educational standards. 
  • We invest in opportunities for all leaders to learn and grow together to increase learning outcomes.
  • We drive a future where all students are safe, strategic, and visionary using technology in their daily lives.

GOALS

  • Every official AzTEA event and/or professional development offering will be rooted in clear industry standard or standards, with marketing referencing the alignment.
  • Deliver at least 3 AzTEA-affiliated, research-aligned, Professional Development (PD) sessions directly to an institution. At least 1 session should be for an institution outside the major metropolitan areas.
  • Actively seek out, and take notable action to obtain, at least two significant funding sources (at least $10,000 per) for the organization.
