Finance
Finance Committee
The role of the finance committee is primarily to provide financial oversight for the organization. Typical task areas include budgeting and financial planning, financial reporting, and the creation and monitoring of internal controls and accountability policies.

Governance
Governance Committee
The governance committee’s main role is to recruit new board members and to ensure that each board member is equipped with the proper tools and motivation to carry out his or her responsibilities. The committee is responsible for reviewing AzTEA’s policies and recommending revisions; record policies as the Board votes them, and prepare bylaw change proposals for presentation to the membership at the Annual Meeting prior to voting.

Membership Committee
The Membership committee is responsible for increasing and maintaining memberships, sponsorships, and partnerships of the organization. The committee develops and promotes marketing strategies that have been approved by the board.

Awards
Awards Committee
The Awards committee recognizes outstanding educators or community members who have made a significant contribution to the field of education and technology through Innovation and Making IT Happen awards. Members review and make recommendations to the Board for recipient(s) under the guidance of the committee chair.

Professional Learning
Professional Learning Committee
We have a number of opportunities available for getting involved with AzTEA, one of which is our Professional Learning Committee.
- Ambassadors: In-person courses and Zoom courses (application required)
- Events: Fall Conference, K-12 Cybersecurity Summit, CI & IT Symposium, Makerfest, CIO/CTO Roundtables
- Learning Cohorts: Book Studies, CETL, TLE
- Online Learning: PD Courses, Communication Hubs, ADE Tech Town Halls, STEM Integration
