Innovation is a broadly defined term that is open to a wide range of applications depending on setting and context. One particularly promising trend in education is the application of innovation principles and practices to community-based and experiential learning. The opening to this unconference will explore opportunities and strategies for using innovation as a tool for enhancing problem-based, “hands on” instructional models in science education.
