New Educator Award

The recipient is an educator within his/her first three years of teaching (K-12) who:

  • makes learning more accessible and authentic for students through integration of technology,
  • uses project-based learning to the extent possible,
  • demonstrates willingness to “take risks” trying new 21st Century Classroom tools as available,
  • utilizes peers and mentors to expand his/her personal skills, and
  • models enthusiasm and inquisitiveness
