ETAN provides a forum for educators and others to engage in the political process and project a unified voice in support of a common cause – improving teaching and learning through the systemic use of technology. ETAN’s mission is to influence public policy-makers at the federal, state and local levels and to increase public investment in the competitiveness of America’s classrooms and students.

ETAN is a simple and easy to use tool that allows you to be an informed citizen on policy that impacts technology in education and make your voice heard at the local and national level.

By visiting the ETAN website at http://www.edtechactionnetwork.org/, you can sign up for ETAN Alerts.  These Alerts will keep you informed about legislative activities at the National Level.

Periodically you will receive an Alert requesting you to make your voice heard. The Alert will include a link that will let you send a pre-formatted letter to your congressional representative. All you have to do is enter your zip code, review the message and add a personal note if you'd like, and ETAN will make sure your letter is delivered to your Congress person and Senator.

AzTEA also has a state ETAN page that we use to let you know about legislative activity in Arizona.
